After a significant decline in June, the summary indicator of the results of the survey con-ducted by GKI Economic Research Co. with the support of the EU, the economic sentiment index, rose markedly in July, returning to its April level. Business and consumer prospects also improved. In July, employment expectations picked up slightly, but the fear of unemployment of households increased slightly compared to June. Companies’ efforts to raise prices barely changed in a month, while consumers’ inflationary expectations rose slightly.
